IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of officers in RRBs for recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in 84 Regional Rural Banks(RRBs)as declared by Government of India every year.
Educational Qualification Required to apply for IBPS RRB CWE are as below:
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Also, proficiency in local language is required and knowledge of Computer skills is desirable.
- Officer Scale-I, II and III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Also, proficiency in local language is required and knowledge of Computer skills is desirable.
- Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers) : Degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. OR Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

– For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
