The National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) twice a year generally in the months of June and December to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science.

Eligibility Criteria to apply are as below:

Age Limit: For Junior Research Fellowship, candidate should not more than 28 years at the time of applying and for the post of Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit for applying.

Education Qualification:– Candidates should have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.
– Candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are also exempted from appearing in NET.

Skill Test Pattern for Data Entry Operator (DEO): Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer. The Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer will be adjudged on the

Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-medical Test commonly called UPCPMT exam is a state level medical entrance exam conducted by King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is conducted by Bar Council of India (BCI) to examine an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE will assess skills at a basic level, and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; it addresses a candidate’s analytic abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), India’s central banking institution every year recruits for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (Direct Recruitment – DR).
