Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test is one of main exam for the candidates who want to pursue international degree. TOEFL is a standardized English language test. Educational Testing Service (ETS), designs and administers TOEFL tests. The TOEFL exam main goal is to measure the ability to use and understand the English language by the non native English people, so that they can able to hear, speak, read and write in the international university classroom. TOEFL scores are accepted by more than 9,000 institutions and agencies in 130 countries around the world. The TOEFL score is valid for 2 years. TOEFL is conducted in two formats:
1) IBT (Internet-based test)
2) TOEFL PBT (paper-based test)

Eligibility Required to apply for TOEFL Test are: No minimum or maximum age and educational qualification is required for TOEFL exam. Anyone who wishes to apply for international degree can apply for it. This test is open to everyone who is properly registered, regardless of race, color, creed or national origin.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Exam Pattern: TOEFL iBT (Internet-based test) test is given in English and administered on Internet. There are four sections (listening, reading, speaking and writing) which take a total of about four and a half hours to complete.

TOEFL Score: Candidates are judged on scale of 0 to 120 points. The minimum marking scale for each section is 0 to 30 points. The score meter for the paper based test is 310 to 677 points.
